In the early ‘70s he studied fashion illustration at Ryerson and Central Tech. With a passion for the industry, he continued his education by studying pattern making, grading and tailoring at Tailor and Cutter in London, England and Instituto Secoli in Milan, Italy from 1972 to 1976.
Jean-Paul wrote and published Dress To Kill in 1993, a guidebook to tailoring and building a successful wardrobe.
In 1995 Jean-Paul joined the Association of Image Consultants International and broadened his career beyond fashion design and tailoring clothes for men and women to include image consulting. In 1996 he joined the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers.
Currently, Jean-Paul works one-on-one with executives to assist them with their wardrobe requirements, offers seminars to help people achieve their image goals and with corporations to enhance the image their staff present to the public.
